Basket and Kit Donationsproviding social services with integrity and ethical stewardship
Basket/Kit Donations: We have various baskets and kits set up for each of our programs to meet specific needs of our clients. This includes things like books and puzzles for our afterschool programs, to hygiene and cooking kits for our Fairweather clients. Donors can purchase the items, or designate the kit to purchase and donate the money directly to Family Endeavors.
Fairweather Family Lodge: Housing, Training, and Support program for Homeless Mom’s and their children. These mom’s come to us from the street or other shelters and rarely have more than what they are wearing.
Backpack Kits with school supplies for Elementary students: Approximately $35 each. This provides a ready backpack and school supplies to the kids that move in with their mom’s throughout the school year. We need about 35 per year.

Bedding Baskets: Approximately $50 each. So our new moms and kids will have nice, new clean and crisp sheets when they first arrive. Anticipate needing 50 over the year.

New Mom Baskets: Approximately $50-$65 each. We often get Mom’s that are pregnant or with a newborn.

Other items:We provide daycare for our mom’s and a community kitchen.

Fairweather Lodge: We have several homes in the San Antonio area where we support adults with persistent mental illness such as schizophrenia, depression, bi-polar disorder, and similar types of mental illness that are often very difficult to manage alone.
Personal Hygiene Baskets: Approximately $35-$45 each. Many of our residents come directly from the streets, hospitals, or other shelters. We anticipate needing 30 Baskets for women this year, and 30 baskets for men.

Household Cleaning Baskets:Approximately $30-$40 each. Our residents set up a self-governing process and are responsible for maintaining their home. We anticipate needing 10 Household cleaning baskets this year.

After School & Full Day Camp Programs: San Antonio Family Endeavorsprovides afterschool programs to 2,000 elementary age kids all over San Antonio each year. We also provide summer camps for close to 250 kids each summer. We operate 25 sites for kids ages 5-12.
